GRAVHOUNDS is a 1–4 player co-op action builder. Your crew is dropped onto a hazardous planet as a landing party: gather resources, raise a base, and defend it against alien life — then pull out with as much loot as you can carry before you become alien chow.
The core loop
- Land. Drop into a landing zone on a hostile planet. Procedural layouts shift every run.
- Mine & build. Gather resources and raise a defensible base in physics-driven chaos.
- Defend. Real physics means things spiral out of control — protect what you built.
- Extract. Haul everything you can carry out before the aliens close in.
- Stay longer = more, but riskier. The longer you linger, the bigger the haul — and the bigger the threat.
Controls (announced)
- Grav Beam: lift, move and throw objects with real physics — your main tool for building and fighting.
- 4-player co-op: split roles — miner, builder, gunner, lookout.
Five mistakes new crews make
- Over-staying: the threat curve spikes and wipes the squad.
- Skipping base defense: a half-built base is alien food.
- Splitting the crew with no callouts — the planet punishes isolation.
- Forgetting the extraction window — loot left behind is loot lost.
- Misusing the Grav Beam — flinging a teammate instead of a crate.
